History & Background
The inception of AMFCC was not an easy one! In his book called “History of ZAOGA Forward In Faith: The Book of Remembrance How It Began And Where It Is Going”, Dr. Guti explains how the rapid growth of the ministry made it difficult for him to move with and train all the Pastors discipling them as he used to. In 1967 God placed in his heart a vision to build and start a Bible school for all people who wanted to be trained for the ministry. But unfortunately because of the laws at the time he was unable to buy land near the city if he was not under white missionaries. He was deeply troubled by this and this is what resulted in him carrying this pregnancy of the vision for ten years.
He initially tried to build in a place called Mudzimuirema in a rural area but that was unsuccessful. In 1977 God worked a miracle and a door was opened for him to purchase a farm after black people were given permission to buy farms near town. He bought a farm near the city of Harare. Apostle Dr. E.H Guti in the afore-mentioned book on page 56 writes, "God helped me. On the 6th of July 1977, the pregnancy l had carried for ten years was delivered and l began a bible school which is known this day as Africa Multination For Christ College (“AMFCC”). It was on that glorious day that the Dr. Guti founded AMFCC, starting with just twenty-one students who were pre-dominantly the wives of Pastors. From these humble beginnings to date, the sacred institution has trained over 5,000 Pastors from many countries including the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Guyana, Belize, Australia, New Zealand, Botswana, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Uganda, South Africa, Ghana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Namibia, Swaziland, Scotland, and Lesotho.
